Actinic Keratosis (AK) is a rough skin patch on your skin, which is caused from excessive sun exposure. These patches can appear on your lips, scalp, neck, face, ears, and back of your hands/forearms. AK is the most common pre-cancer skin condition. It forms on skin which is damaged from long-term exposure to ultraviolet rays from the sun and even indoor tanning.
